How Alonn Came to Be

It all started with wanting to try GTA5 RP but having no character to play.

You know that feeling when you want to create something cool, but your brain just won't cooperate? Yeah, that was me. I needed a name-not just any random name, but something that actually meant something.

Days went by. Nothing clicked.

Then it hit me. I looked at my own nickname - Alen and suddenly felt it. That feeling of being alone, standing on your own, not needing anyone else to survive. I wanted to create a character like that-someone who's emotionally deep, self-reliant, living in their own world. Someone you can actually explore and build stories around.

Alonn.

But I wasn't 100% sure yet. So I asked my friends and my sister what they thought. Everyone loved it. That's when I knew I had something real.

Just one extra 'n' made all the difference. It wasn't just similar to my name-it captured exactly what I wanted the character to be. Independent, a bit lonely maybe, but strong enough to handle it.

For the last name, I went simple: Grey. Nothing fancy, just a hint that this character lives somewhere between right and wrong, in those grey areas of life.

The character was ready. But when did Alonn Grey actually come to life?

December 1st, 2023. That's when I took the jump. I joined Mallu City Role Play (now called Unity Verse)-a Malayalam RP server-and Alonn Grey stepped into the world for the first time.

What Happened After

Here's the crazy part: people actually connected with it.

I started using the name everywhere. In my gaming groups, with friends, across different platforms. And Alonn just... grew. It wasn't just my character anymore-it became something people recognized and respected. main

Friends started making their own characters to exist in the same world. Stories started connecting. What began as me struggling to find a name turned into this whole shared universe that's still going strong today.
